Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves; develop and maintain social relationships; cope with challenges; and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.

The EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Assessment is a psychometrically sound, validated, and normed instrument that is used to both assess and develop EI at the individual, team, and organizational levels. It is one of the most respected and widely-used EI assessment instruments worldwide.

The EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Assessment measures 15 distinct emotional intelligence skills. Your results will describe how EI is impacting your leadership performance and personal well-being. Additionally, your assessment report will include insights on organizational implications, potential leadership derailers, and development strategies.

Average Time to Complete: 15 – 25 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • The EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Assessment must be completed in one sitting (i.e., you cannot begin the assessment, save your progress, and return to complete it at another time).
  • Answer as accurately as possible – there are no right or wrong answers.
  • After you take the assessment, you will not get your results immediately.
  • Approximately 24 hours before your scheduled debrief, I will be upload your results to the “Completed Exercises, Forms & Resources” section of your portal.
  • Please plan to spend about 1 hour reviewing your assessment report prior to your debrief coaching session.
